Customized Diet and Wellness Plan
Low-fat? Low carb? High protein? What is the best diet to help me lose weight?


To lose weight, you must create a caloric deficit. No matter, the diet, in order to lose weight, there must be a deficiency of caloric energy. All diets, including low fat, low carb, paleo, Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, and Atkins work under the premise of lower calories. The amount of carbohydrates, fat, and protein you consume may differ in these diets, but they all will still create a caloric deficit in order for you to lose weight. The same thing happens with most weight loss pills you take. Most weight loss pills you take are designed to suppress your appetite so that you end up eating less food. Thus, you create a caloric deficit. So, if you want to lose weight, you can probably utilize any of these diets or take one of the many weight loss pills on the market (though I wouldn’t recommend it). But weight loss is not only about losing weight, but sustaining the weight loss. There are other underlying issues that may be causing your weight gain, or halting your weight loss progress. My customized diet and wellness plan addresses these issues.


Two plans are offered to assist you with your weight loss efforts.


The first plan is the general meal plan. This plan is for anyone who simply wants a low calorie meal plan that can assist with weight loss. The plan is customized in that the serving sizes and food choices are recommended based on a personal assessment you complete. The cost of this plan is $75. It is usually sent to you within one week of you completing your personal assessment.


The second plan (recommended) is a customized diet and wellness plan that includes an initial assessment, a phone consultation, a 3 day food diary analysis, a low calorie diet plan, links to diet/wellness resources, and four telephonic wellness coaching sessions where we attempt to identify outliers causing pitfalls in your dietary habits. You are also given ideas and recommendations for improving wellness in other areas that may be affecting your dietary choices.  The cost of this plan is $300.  This plan involves multiple components, thus, the process of receiving your CUSTOMIZED plan is a little longer. However, after the telephonic consultation, you should receive your plan within 1-2 weeks.  




I have lost a lot of weight already, I just need to get over this plateau. Can you help me?

Absolutely! The customized diet and wellness plan is setup to assess what might be causing your plateau and to help you break through that barrier to achieve your weight loss goals.


How much weight can I lose if I use your meal plan?

This depends on how much weight you want to lose and how long you stick to the meal plan. The general meal plan can help most people lose 1-2 pounds a week. But as time progresses, the body will get used to your dietary regimen and will not require as many calories. Thus, a new regimen will have to be developed in order to get over the plateau. This is where the customized diet and wellness plan can be beneficial. This plan will not only help with weight loss, but also plateaus. In addition, it contains wellness coaching sessions that will help you stay accountable and address any issues you may be dealing with in your wellness journey.


How do your meal plans work?

Both plans provide a low calorie dietary plan. The diet is based on what you are willing to eat and portion sizes are adjusted accordingly based on several factors (age, gender, health conditions, food allergies, etc.).


Do you provide exercise plans?

Basic exercise suggestions and recommendations are provided in the customized diet and wellness plan. But please keep in mind, you CAN lose weight through dietary changes alone. Exercise simply complements and helps accelerate the weight loss process. I suggest a combination of dietary changes along with exercise in order for you to see the best results for your body and for overall health. 


What is the difference between the customized general meal plan, and the customized diet and wellness plan?

You get more bang for your buck with the customized diet and wellness plan, as well as someone you can talk to and who will hold you accountable throughout the process. The general meal plan does not come with additional assistance. It is developed from a simple assessment you fill out online and then the plan is sent to you within a week. Thus, the general meal plan requires a greater level of  self-motivation and self-discipline.


I am at the weight I want to be at already. Why would I need your help?

You might not need my help. But if you want to sustain your weight range, you may consider WELLNESS COACHING only, just to make sure you have someone to hold you accountable to sustaining your weight maintenance goals.
