• Created and facilitated FAMU's first nutrition leadership program for college students

• Published in multiple peer reviewed journals including The Journal of Health Education Teaching; The American Journal of Health Studies, and The Griot: The Journal of African American Health Studies

• Author of two published books, one performing arts based health curriculum, and six spiritual health curricula

• Speaker/Presenter at two national conferences and over a hundred local and state conferences/events

• Secured over half a million dollars in grant funding for research and programmatic activities from local, state, and federal entities including the USDA

• Producer of the documentary "Getting Bodied The Natural Way: In A World of Butt Shots, Breast Implants, and Tummy Tucks" 

• Organized over a dozen major community events including FAMU's first Women of Color in Education and Extension Empowerment Summit

• Received the 2016 Innovative Teaching Award (FAMU)

• Formerly the host of the FAMU Extension television program "Land Grant Today"

• Featured guest on numerous media platforms including "Conversations with Nicole" (featured on Fox 49), and "Literary Talk Nation Radio"
